These details often matter most at the point when a household is already dealing with illness, injury and reduced cash flow.

The latest dispute themes across life insurance continue to show that claim delays, communication gaps and disagreements about policy definitions can be significant friction points. For income protection insurance, this can be especially sensitive because benefits are usually intended to replace regular earnings. A delayed or disputed payment may affect rent, mortgage commitments, groceries, school fees, business overheads and other everyday obligations.
