AUSactive, Australia's leading body for the exercise and active health sector, has unveiled a new insurance solution designed specifically for fitness and active health professionals.
This initiative aims to provide enhanced protection while offering lower premiums compared to existing market options.

Developed in collaboration with global insurance broker Marsh, the new insurance product is tailored to address the unique risks and responsibilities associated with the fitness industry. This partnership underscores AUSactive's commitment to understanding member needs and delivering practical value, especially during challenging economic times.

Key benefits of the new insurance offering include:

  • Lower premiums compared to other market offerings.
  • A $20 million limit of indemnity, providing market-leading protection.
  • A seamless transition for members with existing policies, ensuring no disruption.
  • Access to risk management and claims support, along with insurance-related insights.
  • Price certainty for members opting for two-year AUSactive memberships.

AUSactive Professional Members can upgrade to the new Professional Plus membership package, unlocking access to this strengthened, member-only master insurance policy. This upgrade replaces the previous Sole Trader option and continues to include additional high-value benefits such as Lawpath and ActiveXchange.

Ken Griffin, Chief Executive of AUSactive, emphasized the importance of this development, stating that insurance is a critical part of professional practice. With these new policies, AUSactive members can focus on delivering excellence in health, fitness, and wellbeing, knowing they have stronger protection that saves them money.
